Japan late Edo (1825-1868) $2,500.00 A rare Edo jacket and bib set of a style that suggests it was once intended to be worn by a mounted flag-bearing samurai 'Daimyou' firefighter. The jacket and bib are of wool twill, with metallic couched mon and appropriate 'amaryu' (rain-dragon) motifs.
